Nittany is a new apple variety developed by Penn State University in Pennsylvania, home of the famous Penn State football team, the Nittany Lions. Nittany apples are comparable to Honeycrisp and Pink Lady - it's a large apple with pretty, red-orange skin, yellow flesh, and fantastic flavor and crunch.
In your Apple Box, each apple has soft, high-density foam surrounding it to ensure protection during shipping. The 8-count box holds approximately 2.5-3 pounds of fresh apples; the 16-count box contains approximately 5-6 pounds, and the 48-count box contains approximately 15-18 pounds. We carefully pack each apple box with the best quality apples that were picked by hand in our orchard. Refrigerate your apples upon arrival.
*Please Note: Due to California state agriculture regulations, we may not ship fruit to California. If an order is placed with the shipping address in California, we will cancel the order.
