Believe it or not, you don't even have to drive to an orchard to get fresh apples anymore! You can just buy one of our premium Apple Boxes, packed with juicy, home-grown Stayman apples – sometimes called Stayman Winesap. An old-fashioned favorite for baking and cooking, Stayman has a hard texture with a famous tart flavor, and is said to bring “A snappy crunch with every bite”. Stayman has also been described as "robust" and "the closest thing to bullets that we grow".
In your Apple Box, each apple has soft, high-density foam surrounding it to ensure protection during shipping. The 8-count box holds approximately 2.5-3 pounds of fresh apples; the 16-count box contains approximately 5-6 pounds, and the 48-count box contains approximately 15-18 pounds. We carefully pack each apple box with the best quality hand-picked apples. Refrigerate your apples upon arrival.
*Please Note: Due to California state agriculture regulations, we may not ship fruit to California. If an order is placed with the shipping address in California, we will cancel the order.

Absolutely the most delicious apples I have eaten. Fresh, sweet and juicy, I will be a regular mail order customer of Kauffman Orchards! We can't find Staymans down here in the south, so I am very happy that I have found my new source for my favorite apples!

Delicious apples
I grew up in Lancaster, PA and I have gotten Stayman apples for over 30 years from Kaufman’s. I am caring for a relative in FL so I was so happy to get the apples delivered. Packaging is the best. Each apple is cradled in foam padding and all arrived in perfect condition. Definitely recommend Kaufman’s.

Staymans
Hard to find staymans these days. Glad I found Kauffman's. Been buying for 5 years. Delivery was fast, well packed and were very fresh. Had a few stems with leaves attached that were still soft. Excellent. I'll be looking for them next year.
