Orchard Updates

11-26-25:

The 2025 harvest is now complete!  We are grateful for the 1.9 millions lbs. plus of fruit the orchard produced.  The orchard crew is now busy with the winter task of pruning over 30,000 trees.  You can check back here for updates next season when strawberries begin to ripen in May. 

Though our Upick is now closed until next spring, our market remains open Mon – Sat, 8:30 – 5:30.

Our primary retail market is located along Route 340 in Bird-in-Hand. Here, you'll find shelves overflowing with Amish bulk foods, grocery items, fresh produce, and more. Among local favorites are all of our house-made apple products, from fresh-pressed cider and donuts to apple butter and and schnitz (dried apples).

U-Pick Fruits

What better way to get delicious sun-ripened fruit than to pick it yourself? Come experience the orchard with us and go home with fresh, homegrown (with love), in-season fruit. Our U-Pick season opens with strawberries in late May; continues in the summer with cherries, peaches, nectarines, plums, and pears; and ends in the autumn with apples and pumpkins. Stay long enough to enjoy our animals and take a walk in the wildflower patch. You might find yourself quoting Shakespeare:
I like this place and could willingly waste my time in it.
