Description
Smokehouse originated around the year 1830 behind the smokehouse on William Gibbon's farm along what is today Gibbons Road, just 3 miles from our orchard outside the village of Bird-in-Hand. Smokehouse has green skin and tart flavor similar to Granny Smith, but ripens eight weeks earlier!
