You can just buy one of our premium Apple Boxes, packed with our homegrown, juicy McIntosh apples – one of North America's truly great varieties, a red and green apple with bright white flesh and a distinctive, refreshing flavor. Kauffman Orchards is a family-owned small business in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, established back in 1915 with a vision to provide the local community with fresh, nutritious fruit that enhances quality of life for the American consumer. Today, the orchard still follows that goal. Managed by the 4th and 5th generations of Kauffmans, Kauffman Orchards grows Nutrient-Dense fruit that has enhanced vitamins, minerals, and flavor. Cooking and Applesauce – Mildly tart and quite aromatic, McIntosh is great for drying, snacking, most cooking purposes, and applesauce. Eat it fresh, slice it and serve with caramel dip, make a candied apple, slice it into salads, or make apple crisp or applesauce. This Apple Box contains premium, Nutrient-Dense, non-GMO, non-waxed McIntosh apples, and each apple has soft, high-density foam surrounding it to ensure protection during shipping. The 8-count box holds approximately 2.5-3 lb. of fresh apples; the 16-count box, approximately 5-6 lb. (about a peck by volume); the 48-count box, approximately 15-18 lb. (about 3/5 bushel). We carefully pack each apple box with the best quality apples that were picked by hand in our orchard. Refrigerate your apples upon arrival.     We ate these apples when I was growing up. I haven’t been able to find any in our area. They are very good. Taste just like I remember.

    Incredibly tasty and fresh apples. They were packed with great care: each apple in its own little "nest". The delivery was also speedy. I will certainly be ordering more.

    Ordered 16 McIntosh apples for the first time from Kaufman Orchards; what a pleasant surprise! The apples were big and beautiful, not a speck or soft spot on them; they were packed so carefully! I was impressed. But the best thing was the total freshness of the apples and sweet delicious taste. Thank you Kaufman Orchards! We will order again.

    I placed the order on November 5th and did not receive the apples until November 13th,FedEx misplaced the box of apples for 3 days. I was concerned that they would have begun to rot but the apples are still very tasty . I will order again.

    I grew up eating Mac’s in Vermont. I have been out west for 30+ and have not had one for many, many years. I was afraid they would be hard or sour or mushy. They are perfect! Good crunch and great taste. First bite took me right back home. I also ordered some apple cider previously. I was Ted to let it get hard. The cider is extremely good. Thank you Kauffman’s for making a 70 year old very happy.

    I am so happy that I found you on the internet so that I could buy WONDERFUL McIntosh apples and have them delivered to me here in Colorado. I moved here in 1969 and was so disappointed when I could never find McIntosh apples here. You can find ever other apple here but not the ONLY ones I like. Thank you Kauffman Orchards!!
