The fruits and vegetables you buy at the farmers market are the freshest and tastiest available. Fruits and veggies are fresh, all natural, and as good as it gets.

Enjoy Fresh Farm Goods And Support Your Local Farmers

Wouldn’t you rather stroll amidst outdoor openness of fresh produce and goods on a sunny day than roll your cart around a grocery store with artificial lights and produce to match? Shopping at farmer’s markets makes for a great way for the family to spend some quality time together too.

Living in PA has many perks indeed – one that I’ve immensely enjoyed is shopping at my local farmers markets. I can’t express the joy I get from walking into a market and being overwhelmed with the wonderful colors of fruits, vegetables, and locally produced goods that are all organically grown and prepared. When I shop at a farmer’s market, I get to choose from an array of products that I’d never see at a grocery store. A regular trip to a farmers market is one of the best ways to connect with where your food comes from.

One of my favorite farmer’s markets is Kauffman’s Fruit Farm & Market – they are located in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Dutch Country, along Rt. 340 between the villages of Bird-In-Hand and Intercourse (directions). Their nearby orchards produce over 135 varieties of tree fruits on 100 acres and are managed with a visionary focus that watches changing consumer needs and national market conditions. Kauffman’s Family Orchard products have been recognized and enjoyed since the early 1900’s. Founder Amos L. Kauffman planted the first fruit trees in 1911, and today the 3rd, 4th, & 5th generations own & operate the business. I have the utmost respect for family-owned and operated businesses.

If you don’t live within driving distance to Kauffman’s you can always order their wonderful products off their website by clicking on THIS LINK. Spending a day at Kauffman’s is so relaxing and so much fun. It’s one of our favorite things to do as a couple. My hubby is not a shopper but when shop at the farmer’s market his shopping skills always impressed me! They have a huge assortment of products on their website, so be sure to give them a visit!

Let me show you some of the awesome goodies Kauffman’s shipped to me. The apples featured in this basket were crisp, sweet, and loaded with natural goodness.

The Apple Schnitz featured below is the best I’ve ever tasted. We love all natural dried sweet apples and they are such an amazing healthy way to snack too. Great for the kids to snack on!

These Apple Schnitz are so moist and loaded with natural goodness! They make for a great grab-and-go snack.

The apple butter spread is the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s delicious paired with any pork dish too. We love adding it to our pork chops as a glaze.

It’s so delicious on your favorite bread too!
