The Bird-in-Hand Bakery and Cafe uses their authentic, old-fashioned, wet-bottom shoofly pie recipe to bake these premium pies right here in the small village of Bird-in-Hand. This 10" shoofly pie gives about 8 servings of this traditional Pennsylvania Dutch dessert with a gooey bottom, cake-like middle and crumb topping. For those of us who have that irresistible sweet tooth, Wet-Bottom Shoofly Pie is a "must have". The shoofly pie is by far the most popular dessert made by the Amish here in Lancaster County! If you are like us, you'll find it's hard to stop with just one slice. Each pie is packed in a white bakery box of heavy cardboard for safe shipping.
